This policy explains how billing works for Statvisor Pro and under what circumstances refunds are issued.

7-day refunds

Request a refund within 7 days of any charge.

1. Billing Cycle

Statvisor Pro is billed on a monthly recurring basis. Your billing cycle starts on the day you first subscribe. Subsequent charges occur on the same calendar day each month. All amounts are in USD and processed securely by Stripe.

2. Free Plan

The Free plan is free forever and requires no payment method. If you never upgrade, you will never be charged. You can use the Free plan indefinitely with its associated limits (1 project, 7-day retention).

3. Upgrading to Pro

When you upgrade to Pro, you are charged immediately for the first month. Pro features (unlimited projects, 30-day retention, full latency percentiles) are activated instantly. Your billing period begins on the day of upgrade.

4. Cancellation

You may cancel your Pro subscription at any time from Settings → Plan → Manage billing. When you cancel:

  • Your Pro features remain active until the end of your current billing period.
  • You will not be charged again after cancellation.
  • At the end of the billing period, your account automatically reverts to the Free plan.
  • Projects beyond the Free plan limit (1 project) will become read-only. No data is deleted immediately.

5. Refunds

We offer refunds on the following basis:

7-day refund window

If you are unsatisfied with Pro, you may request a full refund within 7 days of any charge. Email us at billing@statvisor.com with the subject line "Refund request" and include your account email. We will process the refund within 5–10 business days.

Billing errors

If you were charged incorrectly (e.g. charged after cancellation, or charged twice), we will refund the erroneous charge in full regardless of when it occurred. Contact billing@statvisor.com with details.

Outside the refund window

Refunds requested more than 7 days after a charge are issued at our discretion. We review each case individually and may issue a partial or full refund based on the circumstances (e.g. extended service outage on our part).

6. Service Credits

In cases of extended service disruptions (outages lasting more than 24 hours where Statvisor is fully unavailable), we may issue account credits in lieu of cash refunds. Credits are applied to future billing periods and are non-transferable.

7. Disputed Charges

We strongly encourage you to contact us at billing@statvisor.com before initiating a chargeback with your bank or card issuer. Chargebacks impose significant costs on small companies. We will always make it right if you reach out directly, and we can typically resolve billing issues within one business day.
